Leveraging Credo’s top-notch signal processing technology, this Plug & Play cable seamlessly bridges the gap between PAM4 and NRZ ports, providing speed shifting and Forward Error Correction (FEC) termination within the cable itself, all achieved over thin copper cables without the need for optical components.
The CAC4XX301D4P HiWire SHIFT AEC, meticulously designed for telecom and data center applications, boasts a 400G cable that breaks out from one 400G (8x56G-PAM4) QSFP-DD end into four 100G (4x28G-NRZ) QSFP28 ends, featuring a built-in gearbox feature. The use and replacement of the CAC4XX301D4P AEC are straightforward, thanks to its adherence to standard QSFP-DD type 2/QSFP28 form factors and compliance with MSA specifications.
