The Edgecore ECS4650-54P switch is a Gigabit Ethernet access/aggregation switch featuring six 25G SFP28 uplinks. It is ideal for high-performance Gigabit access or aggregation with 1 Gigabit downlinks, and can serve as an enterprise core switch. This switch is also suited for cloud edge access, connecting IoT and other devices in enterprise and SMB deployments. It is an excellent choice for Gigabit access and aggregation in SMB, enterprise, and campus networks.

The ECS4650-54P is a PoE switch that can deliver up to 90 Watts to power devices such as wireless access points, VoIP phones, surveillance cameras, and IoT devices over Cat 5 UTP cable, eliminating the need for individual power sources. The ECS4650-54P offers high availability, comprehensive security, robust multicast control, and advanced QoS at the network edge while maintaining simple management. It supports advanced IPv6 management, security, and multicast control to accommodate the growth of IPv6 deployment.

With an optimal price-performance ratio, the ECS4650-54P provides ITU-T G.8032 ERPS L2 Ring protection with less than 50 ms convergence time. It comes with comprehensive and field-proven software features for ISPs and carriers, supporting broadband access and IPTV services. The switch includes full L3 features with commonly used unicast and multicast routing protocols, redundant routing protocols, and DHCP relay and server. Enhanced security, IPv6, and multicast features, along with simple management via CLI, SNMP, and Web, make the ECS4650-54P a versatile and reliable choice for modern network demands.
