Edgecore Networks AGR400 (AS7946-30XB) | Aggregation Router

The AGR400 is a high-performance 100GbE aggregation router featuring a range of fixed network interfaces, including 2 x 400G QSFP-DD (21.3 W), 2 x 400G QSFP-DD (16.5 W), 4 x 100G QSFP-DD (16.5 W), 18 x 100G QSFP28 (5 W), and 4 x 25G SFP28 (2 W) in a compact 2RU design. It can be deployed as a disaggregated or standalone router. Engineered with the latest Broadcom StrataDNX Qumran2C silicon, the AGR400 targets use cases such as OpenBNG, 100GbE aggregation routing, PE routing, or as a data center top-of-rack (TOR) switch/router. The AGR400 is equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing the installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) software, including the open-source Open Network Linux (ONL) and various commercial NOS options.

Key features and benefits include high performance for telecom and data center applications, incorporating Broadcom StrataDNX Qumran2C silicon, and support for front-to-back airflow SKUs. The router has hot-swappable, load-sharing, and 1+1 redundant DC-DC/AC-DC power supply units, along with 4+1 redundant, hot-swappable fan modules. It also supports Synchronous Ethernet and IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP).
