The UfiSpace S9502-16SMT is a disaggregated cell site gateway (DCSG) designed to support telecommunications providers in migrating their Radio Access Networks (RAN) to 5G. It features a fanless design for reduced maintenance, improved reliability, and better total cost of ownership (TCO). The gateway supports 100M/1G interfaces for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 10G interfaces for 5G service capacities, offering high throughput with minimal power consumption.
This gateway is built with Broadcom Qumran-UX silicon and the Intel Atom® C3308 processor, ensuring high reliability and scalability for extending services to the network edge. It supports advanced timing capabilities such as IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE, making it ideal for various applications, including 4G/5G aggregation and private networks. The S9502-16SMT features ultra-low forwarding latency, precise synchronization, and rich timing interfaces like ToD, 1PPS, and 10MHz.
The compact 1RU form factor with a depth of only 250mm and fixed 1+1 redundant power supply ensures reliability and deployment flexibility. Its temperature-hardened design makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, including hard-to-reach cell sites.
Compatible with open networking standards, the S9502-16SMT provides a future-proof solution, allowing seamless migration from legacy networks to 5G standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) architectures. This device is ideal for mobile backhaul, broadband access, and other next-generation telecom applications.
