This cutting-edge product offers an 800Gb Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable (OSFP) optical module with a sleek top-closed fin design, perfect for optical communication over distances of up to 2km. It efficiently handles 8 channels of 100Gb (PAM4) electrical input data, converting them into parallel optical signals at the same speed, resulting in a combined data rate of 800Gb. Similarly, it can reverse this process, converting 8 channels of parallel optical signals into electrical output data. The module seamlessly integrates with an optical fiber cable equipped with dual MPO-12 connectors, ensuring precise alignment through internal guide pins. Maintaining alignment is vital, usually achieved by avoiding any twisting of the cable. Electrical connectivity is established via an OSFP MSA-compliant edge connector. Furthermore, the product boasts support for an I2C interface, allowing for easy monitoring and control of its status.
