The UfiSpace S9600-72XC is a high-performance, open aggregation router designed to support service providers in building modern 5G networks. With Broadcom Qumran2c silicon and a switching capacity of 2.4Tbps, it delivers exceptional performance for 5G fronthaul, BBU pooling, and next-generation broadband aggregation. This multi-function platform is equipped with 64 x 25G and 8 x 100G high-speed ports, providing high-density aggregation for advanced network requirements.
The S9600-72XC supports SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 timing synchronization with Class C timing accuracy, making it ideal for Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and 5G Edge Grandmaster (GM) clock implementations. It complies with IEEE 802.1CM and ITU-T G.8273.2 T-BC standards, ensuring precise synchronization and error-free operation in 5G and cooperative radio deployments.
Powered by the Intel® Xeon® D-2145NT CPU, the router offers enhanced flexibility with features such as an integrated Stratum 3E OCXO, 4GB packet buffer, and GNSS receiver for master clock implementations. Rich timing interfaces, including 10MHz, 1PPS, and ToD, provide robust synchronization options for complex deployments.
The 2RU chassis is designed for reliability and ease of maintenance, featuring hot-swappable power supplies (1+1 redundancy) and fan modules (3+1 redundancy). Available in DC and AC power configurations, it supports diverse deployment scenarios in aggregation hubs, metro networks, and data centers.
Designed for compatibility with open NOS applications, the S9600-72XC enables service providers to create flexible, composable networks. With support for ZR/ZR+ optics, it is a future-proof solution for 5G requirements, offering ultra-low latency, high-precision frequency synchronization, and scalable aggregation capabilities.
