The UfiSpace S9502-12SM is a high-performance, disaggregated cell site gateway (DCSG) specifically designed to support telecommunications providers in migrating their Radio Access Networks (RAN) to 5G. It enables operators to deploy disaggregated open network infrastructures, lowering costs while ensuring efficient scalability for mobile backhaul, edge computing, and broadband access applications.
This gateway features a compact 1RU form factor and a fanless design, providing low maintenance and improved total cost of ownership (TCO). Advanced timing capabilities, including IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE compliance, make the S9502-12SM ideal for a range of applications, including 4G/5G aggregation and private networks. It offers ultra-low forwarding latency, precise frequency synchronization, and rich timing interfaces such as ToD, 1PPS, and 10MHz, meeting stringent requirements for timing accuracy.
It incorporates a robust and temperature-hardened design, making it suitable for deployments in hard-to-reach or demanding environments. The inclusion of a fixed 1+1 redundant power supply ensures high reliability and reduced downtime.
