The UfiSpace S9501-28SMT is a high-performance, open networking white box router specifically designed to address evolving backhaul transport needs as telecoms transition towards 5G. It empowers telecom operators and service providers to deploy disaggregated open network infrastructures, lowering costs while enabling rapid scalability for edge computing, mobile backhaul, and broadband access applications.
This router features a compact 1RU form factor and advanced timing capabilities, including IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE compliance, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including 4G/5G aggregation and private networks. The S9501-28SMT supports ultra-low forwarding latency, precise frequency synchronization, and offers rich timing interfaces such as ToD, 1PPS, and 10MHz, meeting the most demanding requirements for timing accuracy.
It incorporates a robust and temperature-hardened design suitable for both indoor and outdoor deployments. The inclusion of hot-swappable, redundant power supplies and fan modules ensures reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
