OTU4 (Optical Transport Unit 4) is a high-speed optical network standard defined by the ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector). It operates at a data rate of 112 gigabits per second (Gbps) and is part of the OTN (Optical Transport Network) framework. An OTU4 transceiver is an optical module that conforms to the OTU4 standard.
