Edgecore Networks CSR320 (AS7316-26XB) | Access Router

The Edgecore CSR320 is an open-design cell site gateway platform that offers a mix of 1/10 Gbps, 25 Gbps, and 100 Gbps interfaces, leveraging merchant silicon and an x86 processor for optimized performance in service provider access and aggregation networks. Designed for durability, the CSR320 operates within a wide temperature range from -40℃ to 65℃. It includes redundant, hot-swappable power modules and redundant 4+1 fans, ensuring high availability and easy maintenance for mission-critical applications, making it an excellent choice for current LTE and emerging 5G mobile backhaul networks. The CSR320 integrates industry-leading network timing and synchronization features, including a GNSS antenna interface, making it suitable for both LTE and 5G mobile backhaul solutions. It comes pre-installed with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing users the flexibility to choose their preferred Network Operating System (NOS) for integration with their applications.

The platform features sixteen 10G SFP+ ports, eight 25G SFP28 ports, and two 100G QSFP28 fixed ports. It supports IEEE1588v2 and SyncE functions in hardware, is rack-mountable in standard 19″ racks, and supports a front-to-back airflow SKU. All ports and PSUs are located at the front, while the fan modules are at the rear. It also includes hot-swappable, load-sharing, redundant AC/48VDC PSUs and 4+1 redundant fan modules. Management options include Ethernet and console RJ-45 ports and a USB storage port. The CSR320 is pre-loaded with ONIE and is compatible with Open Network Linux (ONL).
