Edgecore Networks CSR310 (AS7315-27X) | Access Router

The Edgecore CSR310 is an open cell site gateway platform that meets OCP Acceptance and TIP DCSG Compliance standards. It incorporates various interfaces, such as 1/10 Gbps, 25 Gbps, and 100 Gbps, to deliver optimized performance using merchant silicon and a standard x86 processor for access and aggregation networks. Designed to withstand extreme temperatures, the CSR310 can function in a range from -40℃ to 65℃. It features load-sharing, redundant, and hot-swappable power supply units (PSUs) and fan modules, ensuring high availability and easy maintenance. Notably, the CSR310 supports stacking for scalability and redundancy, enhancing network resilience. The CSR310 excels in network timing and synchronization, making it ideal for both current LTE and emerging 5G mobile backhaul networks. It comes pre-installed with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing users to choose their preferred Network Operating System (NOS) for integration. The platform includes twenty 1G/10G SFP+ ports, four 1G/10G/25G SFP28 ports, and three 100G QSFP28 fixed ports, providing full line-rate Layer 2 or Layer 3 forwarding at 300 Gbps. It supports IEEE1588v2 and SyncE functions in hardware, can be mounted in standard 19″ racks, and features a side-to-side airflow SKU. All ports and PSUs are front accessible, and it has hot-swappable, load-sharing, redundant AC/48VDC PSUs and fan modules. Management options include Ethernet and console RJ-45 ports, as well as a USB storage port. The hardware switch is pre-loaded with ONIE for seamless integration and is compatible with Open Network Linux (ONL).
