The ASGvOLT64 is a high-performance, open GPON OLT that includes 64 GPON ports, 8 x 10/25G SFP28 ports, and 2 x 40G/100G QSFP28 fixed ports. It complies with the ITU-T G.984 GPON standard and ensures wire-speed operation on all GPON ports, supporting standard GPON transceivers. The QSFP28 ports can operate in 100G and 40G modes and can be configured as 4 x 25 GbE or 4 x 10 GbE using DAC breakout cables. This OLT features a disaggregated design with redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans, and offers both front-to-back and back-to-front airflow options.
The ASGvOLT64 is equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), allowing for the installation of compatible network operating system software, including both open-source and commercial NOS options. It boasts a high capacity, making it suitable for next-generation open and disaggregated access network architectures. The device provides Layer 2 or Layer 3 forwarding at 300 Gbps full duplex and supports front-facing ports with rear-accessible PSUs and fans. It also includes 3+1 redundant, hot-swappable fan modules for enhanced reliability. The hardware switch comes pre-loaded with ONIE for automated loading of compatible NOS offerings, making it a flexible and robust solution for modern networking needs.
