With a comprehensive array of port options, including 36 x 100M/1000M/2.5G ports, 12 x 1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T ports, 4 x 25G uplink ports, and 2 x 100G QSFP28 stacking ports, this switch offers flexibility and scalability for various networking scenarios. A standout feature of the EPS203 is its robust Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capabilities, with all RJ-45 Ethernet ports capable of supporting up to 90 W of power. This capability enables the switch to provide high-power PoE to attached devices such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, and surveillance cameras, leveraging existing Cat. 6 cable infrastructure effectively. This makes the EPS203 an ideal choice for campus networking deployments. To ensure reliability and resilience in operation, the EPS203 features redundant hot-swappable AC PSUs and front-to-back airflow design, optimizing cooling efficiency and minimizing the risk of hardware failures. The switch can deliver up to 90 Watts of power per port for all 48 RJ-45 ports, including the 10G ports, ensuring seamless operation of power-hungry devices across the network. Equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), the EPS203 supports the installation of compatible network operating system (NOS) software, including both open-source and commercial options. This flexibility allows users to customize the switch to their specific requirements, enhancing its utility and adaptability in diverse networking environments.
