The Edgecore DCS800 switch represents a pinnacle of performance and versatility, designed specifically for high-performance data centers. Encased in a sleek 1RU form factor, this switch boasts impressive capabilities, offering line-rate L2 and L3 switching across its 32 QSFP28 ports. These ports support a wide range of connections, accommodating up to 32 x 25/40/50/100 GbE connections. Whether deployed as a top-of-rack (TOR) switch or a spine switch, the DCS800 delivers exceptional flexibility. It can seamlessly support 25/50 GbE connections to servers with uplinks of 40/50/100 GbE, or serve as a spine switch for 40/50/100 GbE spine interconnects. Powered by programmable Tofino switch silicon from Intel® Networks, the DCS800 ensures efficient and reliable performance. Its 32 QSFP28 switch ports offer versatile connectivity options, with support for various speeds and configurations, including breakout cables for 4 x 25 GbE or 4 x 10 GbE. With a Layer 2 or Layer 3 switching capacity of 6.4 Tbps (full duplex), the DCS800 can effortlessly handle demanding workloads and high data volumes. It also features hot/cold aisle support with port-to-power airflow SKU, ensuring efficient cooling and optimal performance.
