Edgecore Networks CSR300 (AS7315-30X) | Access Router

The Edgecore CSR300 is a versatile gateway platform designed for cell site applications. It combines various interfaces, including 1/10 Gbps, 25 Gbps, and 100 Gbps, ensuring optimized performance through the use of merchant silicon and a standard x86 processor, ideal for access and aggregation networks. Built to withstand extreme temperatures, the CSR300 can operate within a range of -40℃ to 65℃. It is equipped with load-sharing, redundant, and hot-swappable power supply units (PSUs) and fan modules, which enhance its reliability and ease of maintenance. The CSR300 excels in network timing and synchronization, making it a perfect fit for both current LTE and future 5G mobile backhaul networks. Pre-installed with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), it offers flexibility in choosing the preferred Network Operating System (NOS) for integration. The platform includes four 1G RJ45 ports, sixteen 1G/10G SFP+ ports, eight 1G/10G/25G SFP28 ports, and two 100G QSFP28 fixed ports, achieving a forwarding speed of 300 Gbps at full line rate. It supports IEEE1588v2 and SyncE functions in hardware, can be mounted in standard 19″ racks, and features a side-to-side airflow SKU. All ports and PSUs are front accessible, and it boasts redundant and hot-swappable PSUs and fan modules. Management options are provided via Ethernet and console RJ-45 ports, along with a USB storage port. The hardware switch comes pre-loaded with ONIE for seamless integration and is compatible with Open Network Linux (ONL).
