Compactly housed within a 1RU form factor, this switch delivers seamless line-rate L2 and L3 switching across its 32 QSFP28 ports. Each QSFP28 port offers flexible configuration options, supporting 1 x 100 G or 1 x 40 G, or alternatively, 2 x 50 G, 4 x 25 G, or 4 x 10 G through the use of DAC breakout cables.

The DCS204 offers exceptional deployment flexibility, capable of functioning as a TOR switch supporting connections ranging from 10/25/50 G to servers with 40/50/100 G uplinks, or as a spine switch supporting 40/50/100 G spine interconnects. This adaptability makes it a versatile solution for various network architectures and scaling requirements.

As an open network switch, the DCS204 comes equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), streamlining the installation process of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) software.
