The FTLC3351S3PL1 100G QSFP-28 Transceiver is a high-performance digital coherent optics module designed for metro, regional, and data center interconnect applications. This module operates within the QSFP28 form factor and supports 100G data rates using advanced DP-DQPSK modulation.
One of the standout features of this transceiver is its ability to transmit over distances up to 120 km (dispersion limited), with optional extension to 300 km. The transceiver supports full C-band tunability, available with 50GHz or 100GHz grid, featuring optional Flextune automatic wavelength tuning. It operates efficiently within a case temperature range of 0°C to 70°C (commercial) or -40°C to 85°C (industrial) and maintains low power dissipation of less than 5W, promoting energy efficiency.
Compliance with multiple standards, including IEEE 100GE Ethernet (CAUI-4), ITU-T 100G OTN (OTL4.4), and QSFP28 specifications, ensures broad compatibility and reliability. Additionally, the transceiver is RoHS compliant and lead-free per Directive 2011/65/EU.
This module is particularly well-suited for use in metro and regional networks and data center interconnects, where high performance and reliable long-distance data transmission are critical. The transceiver features an LC receptacle, a common type of fiber optic connector known for its small size and high-performance capabilities, making it ideal for high-density applications.
