The Edgecore EPS122 is a cost-effective high-performance Gigabit Ethernet L2 PoE switch featuring 54 ports; the EPS122 has 48 x10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 6 x 1G/10G SFP+ uplink ports; plus port 1 to port 40 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports fully support IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) 30 W and port 41 to port 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports fully support IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt type 4 up to 90 W.
The EPS122 is ideal as a access PoE switch for Enterprise Access Networking or Campus Access Networking, it includes redundant hot-swappable AC PSUs and fixed 2+1 redundant FANs with port-to-power airflow, with the ability to provide 8 ports up to 90 Watts (depending on the PoE power budget) of power per port to attached devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras etc, fully utilizing existing Cat. 5/Cat. 5e/Cat. 6 cable infrastructure. This open network switch is loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which supports the installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) soſtware, including the open source options, plus commercial NOS offerings
