The ECS5550-30X is a high-performance L2+/Lite L3 10G Ethernet switch, featuring 24 x 10G SFP+ ports and 6 x 100G uplink ports. Designed for carrier and enterprise aggregation or as a top-of-rack switch in small data centers, it supports traditional three-tier aggregation, core topologies, and folded-Clos architectures without over-subscription.
This switch offers advanced IPv6 management, security, multicast control, and Quality of Service (QoS) features, ensuring high availability and simplified management. It supports ITU-T G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) with sub-50ms convergence time, providing network resilience essential for critical applications.
The ECS5550-30X is equipped with 1+1 redundant hot-swappable power supplies and 3+1 fans, enhancing reliability and ease of maintenance. Its 1U form factor allows for efficient integration into existing network infrastructures.
With comprehensive software features tailored for ISPs and carriers, the ECS5550-30X facilitates broadband access and robust multicast IPTV services.
