The Edgecore ECS4650-54T switch is a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet access/aggregation switch featuring six 25G SFP28 uplinks. It is ideally suited for use as a Gigabit access/aggregation switch with 1 Gigabit downlinks or as an enterprise core switch. This switch is also positioned as a cloud edge access/aggregation switch, connecting IoT and other devices in enterprise and SMB deployments. It is particularly well-suited for Gigabit access/aggregation in SMB, enterprise, and campus networks. The ECS4650-54P variant is a PoE switch capable of delivering up to 90 Watts of power to devices such as wireless access points, VoIP phones, surveillance cameras, and IoT devices over Cat 5 UTP cable, eliminating the need for individual power sources.

The ECS4650-54T equipped with features that ensure high availability, comprehensive security, robust multicast control, and advanced QoS at the network edge, while maintaining simple management. Additionally, the switch supports advanced IPv6 management, IPv6 security, and IPv6 multicast control, in line with the increasing adoption of IPv6. This switch offers a cost-effective solution with 25G uplinks for Gigabit Ethernet access/aggregation and ensures network reliability with less than 50 ms convergence time through ITU-T G.8032 ERPS L2 ring protection. It includes comprehensive software features for ISPs/Carriers, providing broadband access and IPTV services. The switch also features full Layer 3 capabilities, including commonly-used unicast and multicast routing protocols, redundant routing protocols, and DHCP relay and server, while providing robust security and advanced features for modern network environments. It supports CLI, SNMP, and web management for ease of use and includes a complete private MIB, allowing full control and monitoring of the switch via the customer’s EMS. Designed to meet the demands of modern networks, the ECS4650-54T provides a reliable and high-performance solution for various deployment scenarios.
