As a supporter of the open source community, STORDIS is a member of the ONF, the P4 Language Consortium and the AMWA, and committed to promote the evolution of Open Networking. The on-site software development department of STORDIS is actively contributing to open source projects such as ONOS STRATUM and Trellis. For the benefit of the broadcasting industry, STORDIS is leading the open source project ‘BroadCtrl’, dedicated to creating a broadcast-specific SDN controller.

By establishing STORDIS LABS, the company runs two of the most advanced technical laboratories for open networking hardware in Europe, packed with a wide range of networking products from 1G to 400G. Proficient network engineers are testing the latest hardware and software in STORDIS LABS, often including prototypes and pre-alpha versions. STORDIS’ technical staff are acquainted with the most recent standards to gain in-depth knowledge and to offer the best customer service and support.

STORDIS has profound technical knowledge regarding the P4 programming language and Barefoot Tofino™ ASICs, based on P4. Hence, STORDIS ACADEMY has been established to organize unique training courses worldwide to provide professional insights into the latest open networking technologies.

STORDIS ACADEMY collaborates with industry leaders to convey specialized knowledge of data plane programming in P4, Barefoot’s Tofino™ switch ASIC architecture, and Barefoot’s Software Development Environment (SDE) Barefoot Studio™.



Alexander Jeffries is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of STORDIS. Principally responsible for strategy, direction and international growth, he is currently leading the company’s drive into becoming a key contributor towards the open networking community. Alexander is further in charge of finance and operations.

With over 20 years of executive experience within the IT industry, Alexander brings with him an unrivalled wealth of knowledge in taking new products and complex software solutions to the global market and within different vertical industries. Alexander has previously held numerous positions in marketing, business development, sales and channel sales.


WALDEMAR SCHECK | VP Sales & Technology

Waldemar Scheck is co-founder and Vice President Sales & Technology at STORDIS. He is the Research Director and Principal Technician at STORDIS LABs, responsible for seeking out, testing and evaluating the latest technologies, as well as building the vertical market-optimised solutions offered by STORDIS. With over 10 years hands-on experience working on bleeding-edge technologies, Waldemar combines a wealth of technical knowledge together with a deep understanding of real-world customer needs.

Prior to STORDIS, Waldemar worked as a Professional Services Engineer and Technical Consultant for an IP Storage virtualisation start-up, delivering pre-sales consultancy and technical support to their international customer base.
